IBM host applications, data sources, messaging and security systems with
new solutions developed using the Microsoft Windows Server System
platform.
Host Integration Server 2004 features and technologies, including
network integration, host access with enhanced security, and application
integration, enable Windows developers to publish business processes in
IBM mainframe and AS/400 applications as XML Web Services, which brings
their Host applications and processes into a Services Oriented
Environment.
Host Integration Server 2004 Enterprise Edition provides customers with
extended Microsoft Enterprise Application Integration services which
includes Transaction Integrator (TI) design tools and the
MSMQ-to-MQSeries Bridge in addition to the same core host access
services included in the Standard Edition.
