Licensing Programs For Small and Medium-sized Businesses

If you are a small or medium-sized business (5-250 PCs), you can benefit from licensing programs that provide payment flexibility, access to the newest software versions, or the many benefits of Software Assurance.

Microsoft Open License offers you three ways to get more from your technology investments:

Open Value allows you to spread payments annually and enjoy a host of other Software Assurance benefits designed to offer more value, more manageability, and more assistance.
Open Volume saves you even more if your organization is able to make a larger initial up-front order in one or more product pools (applications, systems, servers).
Open Business enables you to save on estimated retail prices by placing an initial order for five or more licenses or one server license. You can combine any set of Microsoft products to qualify for the five-license minimum.
Software Assurance (SA) can be included with any of the Microsoft Volume Licensing programs. It provides automatic access to new technology and to productivity benefits, support, tools, and training, to help you deploy and use software more efficiently.

Microsoft Academic Volume Licensing programs provide simple yet flexible volume-based pricing for academic institutions.
System Builder Licensing helps system builders ensure that each computer system contains properly installed and legally licensed software.

Full Packaged Product (FPP) refers to shrink-wrapped boxes of licensed product, typically for a volume of 5 or fewer.

Open Government provides savings with as few as 5 licenses.

Open Charity allows 501c3 organizations to obtain volume discounts.
