Vista or XP

Microsoft’s decision to make it easier for distributors to keep Windows XP in stock after the Jan. 31, 2009, deadline is a move that will allow them to continue keeping their customers happy. Some people expect Microsoft to keep XP around until Windows 7 arrives. What are your thoughts on that?
Microsoft has pushed back the XP deadline on several occasions’ shows that the market's resistance to Vista remains strong, and that many organizations have decided to wait for Windows 7 to arrive.
Although that may be the case for several businesses, we at Wasatch Software have seen a growth In our Vista sales.
My personal opinion is that a lot of us stay in our comfort zone, and allow all the bad press on Vista to hold us back from giving it an honest try. Wasatch Software made the decision to make the switch about 6 months ago, so far so good. I know the majority of us, if not all of us enjoy working on our Vista machines at work, and grumble when we have to deal with XP at home. Please comment and give your thoughts and experiences on this subject.
